All trees have their own story.  They are beautiful and important to our changing world.

  • Cedar of Lebanon tree in Rome, Italy is a thousand years old.
  • Fairchild Oak and the Big Tree were planted by the early settlers to the United States.
  • Redwood tree is thousands of years old.
  • Mesquite tree was imported from Mexico for cattle feed.
  • Eucalyptus tree at Fort Ross, California is the largest Eucalyptus tree in the world.
  • Olive trees are an oil of choice for sustenance and ancient history.
  • Banyan tree sprawls and angles over the land and provides shade.
  • Poplar tree adds shade and color to the landscape.
  • Apple trees are food and the blossoms are announcing spring.
  • African Tulip, Poinciana/Flame and Jacaranda trees were imported to the Americas for color.
  • Mimosa/Monkey Pod provide exotic woods.
  • Cypress trees provide wind breaks.
  • Oaks are sources of wood products, food and beauty ... "under the spreading oaks".
